Salary: €70k

The Compliance Manager role will support the Senior Management team and employees across all office locations to ensure full compliance with all required legislation, internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of Compliance for the company.
  • Responsible for advising the business and management on the application of compliance related rules and procedures.
  • Develop the annual compliance plan which reflects the risk profile of the business.
  • Oversight and logging of risks identified. Review and escalation to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and ensure these are updated and incorporated to reflect current business controls
  • Manage and monitor Minimum Competency Code & Fitness & Probity compliance
  • Discuss promptly with management any issues or concerns of a regulatory or compliance nature and agree corrective action to be taken including responsibility, timelines and review date
  • Proactively drive and implement the compliance agenda across the business

Key Skills:

  • Qualified with a legal or professional Compliance qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years Compliance experience within the Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • In depth knowledge of regulatory and operational risk requirements related to the Insurance industry

Key Requirements:

Our client, a well established broker, has a need for an experienced Senior Personal Lines Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a professional rapport with customers when arranging, altering or renewing their car, house or van insurance in line with our procedures and Central Bank requirements

Responsibilities Include:

  • Issuing renewal documentation to clients and following up to ensure retention of the account
  • Issuing motor and home insurance new business quotations and closing sales
  • Servicing of accounts including mid-term alterations, handling of claims etc
  • Achieving personal lines renewal income and new business targets, including generating leads for personal and commercial lines where the opportunity arises
  • Dealing with client queries and providing excellent levels of service to our clients
  • Adhering to all compliance requirements

Skills & Qualities Required:

  • Experience in a general insurance / personal lines sales environment minimum 2 years
  • APA
  • Strong IT skills – knowledge of Relay is desirable but not essential

The Team Lead will be required to manage the day to operation of the personal lines team, to include motivating, managing and coaching the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively leading, managing and motivating a sales and renewal business team to meet financial objectives
  • Responsible for developing, executing and managing targeted multi-channel renewal business campaigns to achieve performance results.
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing to increase and/or maintain levels of the business activity.
  • Responsible for identifying renewal business opportunities and presenting benefits and key features of products effectively to secure business.
  • Proactive in identify new revenue generating opportunities to meet the company targets such as cross selling and up selling to existing customers.
  • People and performance management, creating and sustaining a high performance culture.
  • Ensuring that staff development needs are identified and training is provided where needs/gaps are identified.
  • Developing and maintaining renewal business materials and current product knowledge.
  • Managing the agreed levels of calling activity effectively with capacity to ensure a consistently high standard of service.
  • Ensuring provision and delivery of excellent customer service as defined by agreed service standards and to ensure that standard procedures are strictly adhered to.
  • Provide regular and effective internal and external communication

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a team leader/supervisory role
  • Minimum CIP
  • A natural people leader.
  • Motivated, target driven and results orientated.
  • Graduate calibre or equivalent desirable.
