Our client, a specialist brokerage based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team, focusing on wholesale accounts and property insurance.

This role involves managing a portfolio of renewals and new business enquiries while maintaining a high standard of client service. Responsibilities include handling intermediary queries, providing information on policy coverage, terms, and claims procedures, processing MTAs, issuing endorsements, preparing MRC slips, and generating policy documentation.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a background in property insurance and portfolio management. Strong communication, client relationship management, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and work efficiently. Experience with Lloyd’s, MGAs, retail insurance, or underwriting would be an advantage. An APA qualification is required, and a CIP qualification is preferred.

The salary for this role will depend on experience, with a range of €40,000 to €60,000. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, death in service benefits, a pension scheme, and 25 days of annual leave. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work remotely up to three days per week.
