Our client, a leading insurance broker in Ireland, is seeking an Account Director to join their Commercial Lines team in Cork. This senior role involves managing a large portfolio of existing business, ensuring strong retention rates, and contributing as a key member of the broking team. You will play a strategic role in driving business growth while maintaining high service standards.
As Account Director, you will work closely with Account Executives to achieve business objectives and uphold quality standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and managing aged debt to ensure smooth financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to handle complex commercial risks. You should be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience in commercial insurance, a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with a focus on retention, and a CIP qualification.
