Claims Handler (Motor Damage & Personal Injury)

Our client, a specialist brokerage based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join their team, focusing on wholesale accounts and property insurance.
This role involves managing a portfolio of renewals while ensuring a high standard of client service. Responsibilities include handling intermediary queries and providing expert guidance on policy coverage, terms, and claims procedures. The role also involves processing MTAs, issuing endorsements, preparing MRC slips, generating policy documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the insurance industry, along with strong communication, client relationship management, and organisational skills. The ability to work efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation is essential. Experience in commercial or retail insurance would be an advantage, and exposure to Lloyd’s, MGAs, or underwriting would be beneficial but is not essential. An APA qualification is required, while a CIP qualification is preferred. Full systems and product training will be provided.
The salary for this position ranges from €40,000 to €50,000, depending on experience. The role comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, death in service benefits, a pension scheme, and 25 days of annual leave. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work remotely up to three days per week.
