Our client is a well established insurance broker with multiple locations based around Ireland. They are now on the lookout for a new member of staff to join their company on the commercial insurance team as a Commercial Insurance Broker on the existing business team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and retain an existing portfolio of SME and commercial clients
- Handle annual renewals from start to finish, including remarketing where required
- Negotiate renewal terms with insurers to secure competitive cover and pricing
- Process mid-term adjustments, endorsements, and policy amendments
- Provide professional advice and tailored insurance solutions to clients
- Identify cross-selling and portfolio growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate records on CRM and policy administration systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurer partners
Candidate Profile:
- APA Commercial qualified (minimum) – CIP desirable
- 1–2+ years’ experience in commercial insurance
- Strong personal lines candidates with exposure to renewals will also be considered
- Experience managing renewals and existing client portfolios
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and compliance-aware
- Commercially minded with an ability to identify growth opportunities
- Ambitious and motivated to progress within the commercial insurance sector
