Our client provides specialist advice on pensions, investments and inheritance planning to some of Ireland’s leading professionals and entrepreneurs. They have been in business for more than 35 years and advise on over €600 million funds under management. They are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
  
Our client is seeking a well-organized, responsible team player for a permanent position of Financial Planner, reporting to the Financial Planning Manager. This role is suitable for someone seeking to progress a career in the financial services industry.
  
Responsibilities

  • Working closely with a number of Financial Advisors, the successful candidate will complete the following:
  • Prepare all paperwork for New Business proposals
  • Complete Client Profiles
  • Manage Information Requests
  • Check all Annual Portfolio Reviews for accuracy
  • Email Annual Portfolio Reviews to clients
  • Deal with adhoc client queries and requests
  • Alternative contact when Financial Advisors are out of the office
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, when required
  • Attend some client meetings.

  
Note: The responsibilities may be changed as the firms’ activities expand and develop.
  
Characteristics & Skills required   

  • The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • QFA or equivalent qualification.
  • Client focused and efficient, with specific attention to detail.
  • Friendly, outgoing attitude and professional manner.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, to a deadline, and take initiative, when required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, Adobe and Outlook in particular.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Terms & Conditions

  • Duration – permanent position (subject to 6-month probationary period).
  • Bonus – discretionary bonus payable at year end.
  • Holidays – 25 days per annum.
  • Pension – employer sponsored pension provided, after six months.
  • Life Insurance and Income Protection benefits provided.
