Insurance Associate Manager

Our client, a regulated insurance and reinsurance provider, is seeking an Insurance Associate Manager to join their growing operation. This role offers exposure across underwriting, claims, reporting, and wider insurance management functions. It suits someone who wants to broaden their technical capability and take ownership of a varied and engaging portfolio. This is a hybrid position based in Dublin with flexibility built in.
 
Role Overview
You will support the full insurance and claims cycle for a portfolio of regulated insurance and reinsurance entities. The position requires strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners.
 
Key Responsibilities
– Act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders
– Manage all insurance and claims activity for a portfolio of entities
– Deliver accurate and timely reporting and ensure all deadlines are consistently met
– Coordinate with internal functions including actuarial, finance, and compliance
– Work closely with third party service providers such as TPAs, auditors, actuaries, brokers, and loss adjusters
– Prepare and analyse claims reports
– Complete regulatory reporting in line with Solvency II requirements
– Prepare and present materials at Board meetings
– Oversee the full insurance premium cycle including invoicing and receipt
– Manage Insurance Premium Taxes and related processes
– Support broader team projects and cross functional collaboration
 
Candidate Profile
– Third level qualification and/ or a relevant insurance qualification
– Minimum of two years of experience in insurance operations, captive management, underwriting, broking, claims, or corporate insurance
– Good understanding of the regulatory environment for insurance and reinsurance entities
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
– Willingness to learn and develop
– Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
