Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Member Services Adviser to join their team. This is a varied, customer-focused role where you’ll be supporting members and students, managing enquiries, and ensuring an excellent service experience across all touchpoints.
The Role
As a Member Services Adviser, you’ll act as a first point of contact for members, students, and stakeholders, providing support across membership, education, and professional development-related queries.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll help deliver a seamless member experience while ensuring records, applications, and administrative processes are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Member Support & Customer Service
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide information relating to membership, professional development requirements, educational programmes, and available services.
- Process membership and education-related applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist users with access to online learning and digital platforms.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and build positive relationships with members.
Membership Administration
- Maintain accurate member records and database information.
- Support the onboarding of new members and students.
- Process renewals and assist with member engagement activities.
- Prepare reports and assist with membership-related administration as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and data management standards.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver a seamless member experience.
- Contribute ideas for improving processes and service delivery.
- Provide support during peak activity periods, including registration and renewal campaigns.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service, administration, member services, or client support role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A positive, professional approach with a genuine focus on customer experience.
