Our client is a well-established professional membership organisation operating within the financial services sector. They play a key role in supporting industry professionals through education, professional development, and member services.
 
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Member Services Adviser to join their team. This is a varied, customer-focused role where you’ll be supporting members and students, managing enquiries, and ensuring an excellent service experience across all touchpoints.
 
The Role

As a Member Services Adviser, you’ll act as a first point of contact for members, students, and stakeholders, providing support across membership, education, and professional development-related queries.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you’ll help deliver a seamless member experience while ensuring records, applications, and administrative processes are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Member Support & Customer Service

  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide information relating to membership, professional development requirements, educational programmes, and available services.
  • Process membership and education-related applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist users with access to online learning and digital platforms.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and build positive relationships with members.

Membership Administration

  • Maintain accurate member records and database information.
  • Support the onboarding of new members and students.
  • Process renewals and assist with member engagement activities.
  • Prepare reports and assist with membership-related administration as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and data management standards.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver a seamless member experience.
  • Contribute ideas for improving processes and service delivery.
  • Provide support during peak activity periods, including registration and renewal campaigns.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service, administration, member services, or client support role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A positive, professional approach with a genuine focus on customer experience.
