About the role
Our client is a long-established chartered surveying firm based in Dublin 2, advising clients across residential and commercial property. They’re looking for an experienced Office Manager to be the engine room of the team: a hands-on support role working closely with the directors, keeping the day-to-day running smoothly, anticipating needs, and taking the pressure off a busy practice.
This is a boutique team where the directors are personally involved in client work, so the right person will be someone they can genuinely lean on. If you enjoy variety, take pride in being the person everyone relies on, and get satisfaction from a tidy inbox and a fully ticked-off to-do list, this could be a great fit.
Hours & location
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (some flexibility available if needed)
- Fully office-based in Dublin 2
- Parking nearby is limited and expensive, so the role best suits someone who can commute by public transport, bike, or on foot
What you’ll be doing
- Setting up and managing client and property files, both physical and on the CRM
- Supporting the directors with day-to-day tasks
- Diary management and scheduling meetings, site visits, and inspections
- Fielding emails and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Managing stationery and other office orders
- Task management — making lists, tracking progress, making sure things get over the line
- Helping pull together reports (largely template-based — valuation, condition, and similar)
- Assisting with presentations
- Dictation typing (a plus, not essential — useful for site notes and reports)
What we’re looking for
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with Adobe Acrobat (easily taught if not) — wider Adobe experience is a bonus
- Comfort using AI tools to streamline workflows would be a plus
- A background in property, law, or another professional services environment is an advantage, but not essential
- Above all: someone proactive, well-organised, and happy to take ownership of keeping a busy practice on track
