An exciting opportunity has arose for an ambitious, highly motivated, Financial Services Sales Manager, to lead a team of 5 Financial Advisors.

The successful candidate will oversee all activities related to the Team, including the day to day revenue generating activities, coaching and mentoring of team members, leading by example in delivering exceptional client centric service and collaborating on a number of different projects across the business.

The individual we are seeking aligns with our core values and has proven experience of successfully leading a team, preferably within the Financial Services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the team to meet and exceed targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to Head Of Financial Planning
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention by delivering excellence at every touch point
  • Oversee financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulations at all times
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports in relation to the Team
  • Analyse and interpret financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead, coach and develop all employees within the team
  • Have regular check points with employees, provide ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews on a quarterly basis
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to align strategies with overall business objectives
  • Identify new opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the client experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends through a continuous improvement mindset and attending regular sessions to maintain CPD

Skills And Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (CFP®) would be advantageous
  • Fully QFA qualified at a minimum
  • A demonstrated track record of strong leadership and team management ideally in the financial services industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while still maintaining high quality work output and a high degree of accuracy, working to agreed deadlines
  • Strong communicator with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Excellent knowledge of the financial services and product offerings
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team and cross functionally to enhance business performance
