Senior Data Analyst

A growing personal lines insurance MGA operating across motor, home and commercial motor. The business partners with insurer capacity providers and focuses on underwriting discipline, pricing integrity and controlled growth, with an increasing emphasis on data and performance insight.
  
Your new role
As Senior Data Analyst, you will turn data into clear, reliable insight to support decision making. You will take ownership of the existing data lake, enhancing its structure, quality and governance to ensure a consistent single source of truth.
You will analyse performance across products, channels and partners, identifying trends and key drivers. You will build and maintain dashboards and reporting, ensuring management information is accurate and accessible, while supporting ad hoc analysis.
  
You will also improve data quality processes, document definitions and logic, and work closely with teams across underwriting, pricing, finance and operations to deliver clear analytical outputs.
  
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have 5+ years experience working with data lakes or warehouses, with strong Python and or SQL skills and advanced Excel. A solid understanding of data structures and strong analytical ability are essential.
Insurance experience is advantageous, along with exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
