About the Company
Our client is a well-established and growing brokerage firm experiencing continued expansion through acquisition. With a strong presence in the Irish financial services market, they are now looking to add a Senior Financial Advisor to their team in Co. Kerry. This is a newly created role designed to support the firm’s ongoing growth while maintaining its commitment to exceptional client service.

Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will take on a key role in managing an existing book of clients, handling new business leads and referrals, and undertaking a small element of business development. You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, self-employed professionals, business owners, and corporate clients, providing expert financial advice across Pensions, Investments, Savings, and Protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Manage and develop an existing portfolio of clients, delivering expert financial planning advice tailored to their needs.
  • New Business & Referrals: Handle inbound new business leads and client referrals, providing solutions across Pensions, Investments, Savings, and Protection.
  • Business Development: Proactively identify new opportunities within your client network to support the company’s continued growth.
  • Market & Product Knowledge: Work with all major financial providers in the Irish market, staying up to date on products, trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Compliance & Best Practice: Ensure all advice is fully compliant with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and company policies.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate clients, fostering trust and long-term engagement.

Key Requirements

  • QFA qualification (additional industry qualifications desirable i.e. RPA, CFP)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial advisory role within brokerage, banking, or wealth management.
  • Strong knowledge of Pensions, Investments, Savings, and Protection products in the Irish market.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a client portfolio with a client-focused approach.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to identify opportunities and build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
