Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with insurers regarding new business submissions and policy renewals.
  • Managing and processing new business applications, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
  • Handling all administrative aspects of insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Updating and maintaining customer records in line with data protection regulations, the Consumer Protection Code, and the Central Bank of Ireland’s requirements.
  • Responding to queries from both insurers and customers professionally and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Providing expert insurance advice to both existing and potential clients.
  • Assisting clients and insurers with claims-related queries.
  • Administering specific insurance schemes, such as school fee schemes.
  • Supporting additional projects and tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly personal lines insurance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of work.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Holds an APA qualification in Personal Lines and is working towards CIP or already CIP-qualified (or grandfathered).
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Familiarity with the Relay system is advantageous.
  • Highly reliable, with a strong sense of integrity.
  • Excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
