The Role
The Senior Private Client Leader will serve as a senior figure within the private wealth division, responsible for leading a team of wealth professionals while personally managing a portfolio of the firm’s most valued ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of wealth managers and private client advisors, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
- Personally manage and grow a select portfolio of UHNW clients, providing sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional wealth solutions
- Define and execute the private client growth strategy in collaboration with the broader leadership team
- Drive new business development through senior networks, referral partnerships, and strategic introductions
- Act as a senior spokesperson and ambassador for the firm’s private wealth proposition
- Provide oversight and governance across the team’s client portfolios, ensuring consistent quality and regulatory compliance
- Partner with investment, tax, legal, and family office teams to deliver bespoke, holistic solutions for complex client needs
- Represent the business at industry events, thought leadership forums, and senior networking engagements
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior private client or wealth management leadership role, with a demonstrated track record at UHNW level
- A substantial existing network and a proven ability to originate significant new business
- QFA qualification – essential; CFP, CFA, or equivalent senior qualification strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in complex wealth planning including multi-generational wealth transfer, alternative investments, and cross-border structures
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and inspiring high-performing teams
- Outstanding relationship management skills with the credibility to engage at the most senior levels
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness, with the ability to influence at board and executive level
- Full authorisation or eligibility for authorisation with the Central Bank of Ireland
