The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Senior Wealth Manager will take full ownership of an established and growing book of private clients, providing holistic financial planning and investment advice tailored to each individual’s goals, risk appetite, and life stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) private clients, acting as their trusted primary point of contact
- Deliver comprehensive, goals-based financial planning including investment management, retirement planning, tax-efficient structures, and estate planning
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and grow assets under management
- Source and win new client mandates through referrals, networking, and business development activities
- Collaborate with internal specialists across tax, legal, and investment teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions
- Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in line with MiFID II and Consumer Protection Code obligations
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in wealth management or private client advisory, ideally within a regulated Irish or international firm
- A proven track record of managing and growing a private client book with demonstrable AUM figures
- QFA qualification – essential; CFP or equivalent is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Irish financial markets, investment products, and tax planning structures
- An exceptional ability to build trusted, long-term client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- A self-motivated, commercially focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Full authorisation or eligibility for authorisation with the Central Bank of Ireland
