Your new role
As a Junior or Associate Commercial Underwriter, you will gain exposure to a broad range of liability and package business. Working alongside senior underwriters, you will support new business and renewal processes, develop your technical knowledge, and provide professional service to brokers. This role offers an excellent platform to build a long-term career in underwriting with the opportunity to specialise in the future.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 1–2 years’ insurance experience (underwriting or broker support advantageous)
- Interest in developing a career in Liability underwriting
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- APA required
- CIP (or working towards it) would be an advantage
