About the Client
360 Search is partnering with a growing Irish insurance broker that is part of a well-established UK-headquartered chartered broking group. The wider group employs over 1,000 people across the UK, Ireland and continental Europe. In recent years it has invested significantly in building its Irish presence, bringing together several well-regarded brokers with long-standing client relationships across commercial insurance, personal insurance and financial planning.
The business values its people and places real emphasis on career progression, collaboration and diversity. It looks for people who are willing to try new things, support colleagues through everyday moments and bigger challenges, and want to make a positive difference at work and beyond.

About the Role
The client is looking to appoint a Commercial Connected Account Executive within its wider Personal Lines team. Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will manage the Commercial Connected Personal Lines book of business. The role focuses mainly on policy renewals, client retention and satisfaction, while identifying new business and cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
A central part of the role is building a strong working relationship with the Commercial Handler. The Account Executive and Commercial Handler will work closely together to provide a joined-up service to clients, with clear communication, effective collaboration and ownership throughout the client journey, delivering the best possible outcomes for Personal Lines clients.
The role requires strong relationship management, negotiation and sales skills, excellent Personal Lines technical knowledge, and the ability to manage a portfolio proactively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the Commercial Connected Personal Lines book of business, ensuring clients receive a consistent and professional service.
  • Build a strong rapport and collaborative working relationship with the Commercial Handler, maintaining clear communication on client needs, renewals, referrals and service requirements.
  • Act as the primary Personal Lines contact for Commercial Connected clients, delivering a seamless service through close collaboration with the Commercial team.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and building long-term loyalty.
  • Oversee the renewal process for Personal Lines policies, including reviewing cover, obtaining and negotiating terms, presenting suitable options and ensuring timely completion.
  • Evaluate clients’ risk profiles and provide clear, expert advice on suitable insurance products and coverage options.
  • Proactively identify cross-selling, referral and new business opportunities arising from the Commercial Connected portfolio.
  • Respond promptly to client and internal queries, resolve issues and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed new business, renewal, retention and income targets.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy records, ensuring all activity and communication is recorded on the relevant systems.
  • Implement the firm’s compliance and office procedures, including New Business Development and Renewal Procedures.
  • Stay up to date with market practice and product availability, providing feedback to management on pricing, service levels and product development.
  • Work with other teams across the group to support training, product development, connected-client opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Attend client visits with management or Commercial colleagues as required.
  • Adhere to all compliance requirements set out in the Handbook and Procedures Manual.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 – experience in an insurance role, ideally with responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Minimum APA Personal Lines qualification or Grandfathered status, with evidence of up-to-date CPD.
  • Excellent technical product knowledge and a strong understanding of the Personal Lines insurance market.
  • Proven experience managing policy renewals, handling client enquiries and delivering high levels of retention and satisfaction.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Commercial Handlers and wider internal teams.
  • A confident communicator who can explain cover, options and recommendations clearly to clients and colleagues.
  • Skilled in negotiating terms and conditions to achieve good outcomes for both the client and the business.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to recognise new business, referral and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities, renewal deadlines and follow-up actions.
  • Accurate and detail-focused, with a strong commitment to compliance and record-keeping.

What the Client Offers

  • A permanent role within a growing, well-backed broking group.
  • Genuine career progression as the Irish business continues to expand.
  • A culture that values diversity, collaboration and mutual support.
  • A commitment to reasonable adjustments. Alongside standard adjustments such as software, IT and office set-up, the client can consider flexible hours or hybrid working. Not every role can accommodate changes to hours or location, so this can be discussed in confidence.

Candidates who are interested but unsure whether their profile is the right fit are encouraged to apply. Where a profile meets the criteria, support can be provided with any reasonable adjustments required.
