Lynda Barnes

Managing Director

Lynda Barnes, Managing Director of 360 Search has over 15 years market experience having started her career as an insurance underwriter, where she gained invaluable insights into the internal workings of insurance companies along with a technical understanding of equating risk. During her career, Lynda has consulted, recruited and headhunted at the highest levels; playing a pivotal part in enabling international start-ups to map out and onboard the very best talent. Recruiting at executive levels ensures 360 Search's candidates are able to access the right people at the right level when looking to change their role. More recently, Lynda has been engaged in providing a mergers and acquisitions facilitation service to insurance brokers.

Sarah McGrath


Sarah McGrath is a general insurance market leader with finely tuned negotiation skills. She helps ensure our insurance professionals get access to their employer of choice and obtain their desired objectives from the recruitment process. Her ability to manage and develop key relationships at senior levels has guaranteed our place as a recruitment partner for many high profile hires in the Irish broker market. In a former life, Sarah had extensive experience working in a fast paced high street recruitment environment, dealing with management roles within a variety of industries. Sarah has a degree in business and is a qualified nutritional therapist with a passion for corporate wellbeing, having advised many insurance industry associations on the subject.

Karyn Glennon

Head of Life & Pensions Recruitment

Karyn Glennon started her recruitment career in 2013, where she quickly developed and grew a temporary and contract recruitment desk across multiple industries, including; Insurance, banking and finance for both SMEs and MNCs. Karyn is renowned for the successful on-boarding of the best talent and prides herself on her ability to develop recruitment partnerships with senior executives and hiring managers, by ensuring their specific needs are met. Karyn joined 360 Search in 2018 to Head up the Life & Pensions Division, working with a wide and varied client and candidate base that includes Wealth Management and Financial Advisory positions. She holds a diploma in Human Resource Management.

Holly Railes


Holly has joined 360 Search from a fast-paced independent brokerage, bringing with her valuable experience and insight of the Life & Pensions industry. Having previously completed the Qualified Financial Advisor designation, Holly is looking to put her industry knowledge to good use in her role within 360 Search. In addition, Holly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from Lancaster University and has over five years client-facing and sales support experience in Financial Services gained both in Ireland, UK and Australia.

Gillian Fox

Business Executive

Gillian Fox is our Business Executive, supporting each business division and managing all of 360 Search's suppliers and industry associations. Gillian joined the team with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. In addition to her operational responsibilities, she arranges and oversees all industry events and public relations with trade journals. She also has a defined role in strategically directing our online market presence and brand. Gillian ensures our brand proposition is the first choice for talent across the general insurance, life, pensions, and insurance sectors.

Abid Hamid

Chief Executive Officer

Abid trained as a lawyer working in corporate finance before entering recruitment 25 years ago. He’s worked in over 35 countries in various CEO roles and was investor and director of a UK FTSE 250 company, as well as a non-executive director for many different types of recruitment companies. As the founder of ARBP, a global training company responsible for training recruiters in over 22 countries, he has a wealth of experience in building and managing growing teams. Abid's industry specialisms include; oil and gas, security and professional services.

James Caan CBE


James Caan CBE is one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs. He made a global success of his recruitment companies, Alexander Mann and Humana International. In 2004, he founded private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw which now has a portfolio of 30+ businesses. He is well known for joining the hit BBC show – Dragons’ Den, and The Business Class on CNBC. A passionate supporter of small businesses, James chaired the government’s Start-Up Loans scheme and now invests in and mentors Recruitment Entrepreneur businesses.

Angus McDowell

Investment Manager

Angus works across the investment cycle, conducting due diligence and project managing live origination deals. He is also heavily involved in helping design and develop the strategy and planning for the existing portfolio businesses to assist with driving value creation. Angus has a wealth of managerial and board level experience and an MBA at Cass Business School.
