Our client is an award-winning investment and pensions advice firm in Ireland. They help individuals and companies take control of their financial future through clear advice, smart use of technology and transparent pricing.

Continued growth means they are now looking for a technically strong Senior Financial Advisor to join the team.

This role is built around the quality of advice. You will take ownership of an established client base, working with clients who have complex financial needs and developing well-considered, technically sound solutions. Clients are provided by the business, so there is no requirement to bring your own clients or source new business.

You will also have the opportunity to help shape how the business operates, including client review processes, reporting standards and the wider use of systems and CRM.

About the Business
The firm works with a broad range of clients, from senior professionals to corporate clients, who value expert and straightforward financial guidance. Their advisors combine deep technical knowledge with modern portfolio thinking and technology-enabled processes.

It is a people-first business. Advice is driven by what is right for the client rather than by sales activity, and the focus is on long-term relationships built on trust, clarity and professional standards.

The Role Advisory and Client Relationships

  • Manage the full advisory journey, from initial engagement through to ongoing reviews
  • Advise clients with complex needs across life, pensions and investments, developing tailored solutions
  • Prepare and present clear, high-quality recommendations and suitability reports
  • Identify where broader financial planning would benefit existing clients
  • Ensure all advice meets regulatory and compliance standards

Business Improvement

  • Contribute to client review processes, reporting and wider operational improvements
  • Support consistent use of CRM and advice standards across the team
  • Work closely with leadership as the business continues to scale

Mentoring and Team Support

As a smaller part of the role, there is scope to lead weekly advisor meetings and mentor junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and contributing to internal case reviews.

What You’ll Bring

  • QFA designation essential, with further qualifications an advantage
  • At least five years’ experience in investments and pensions
  • Strong technical knowledge across life and pensions
  • Proven experience providing complex financial solutions to clients
  • Experience managing an existing client book
  • High attention to detail in advice, documentation and client delivery
  • The ability to explain technical matters in a clear, client-friendly way
  • A professional, credible presence with clients in one-to-one and group settings
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues is beneficial

Is This Role Right for You?

This is not a sales-led or commission-driven environment. The business values technical depth, sound judgement and the quality of client outcomes. If you are mainly motivated by selling or commission, this role is unlikely to suit you. If you want to focus on giving high-quality advice to an established client base, without the pressure of sourcing your own business, it is well worth a conversation.

For a confidential discussion about the role, please get in touch.
