Due to increased demand the company are seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual and for the right person offers the potential to support junior employees through the training process and deputize for the Head of Mortgages.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and results-driven individual, you will be responsible for providing expert mortgage advice to clients, managing relationships with lenders, and ensuring the best possible experience for the client on their mortgage journey.
Responsibilities:
- Guide clients through the mortgage process from consultation to loan approval, providing expert advice tailored to their individual needs and financial circumstances.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention through clear communication and personalized service.
- Establish and nurture relationships with mortgage lenders and financial institutions, negotiating terms and securing the most favourable mortgage options for clients.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the mortgage application process.
- Aspire to and prepare for progression into a leadership role within the sales team, including mentoring junior brokers, providing training, and driving team performance.
- Stay informed about market trends, mortgage products, and industry developments, sharing insights with clients and colleagues to enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mortgage Broker, with a proven success in a client-facing position.
- Qualifications: Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership qualities with a desire to take on increasing levels of responsibility and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
- Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ethical Standards: Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
