The Opportunity
An established and growing wealth advisory firm is seeking an experienced Wealth Manager to join its senior advisory team. The firm specialises in high-net-worth and affluent private clients, providing holistic financial planning and discretionary investment advice.
This is a senior, client-facing role suited to an adviser who is commercially strong, technically sharp, and comfortable managing complex client relationships. You will inherit a portfolio of high-value clients while also playing a key role in business development and long-term growth.
 
The Role
You will provide comprehensive wealth management advice across investment strategy, retirement planning, tax-efficient structuring, estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfer.
You will act as the lead adviser to a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, building deep, trusted relationships and becoming their primary strategic contact.
You will work closely with investment, compliance and paraplanning teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned to each client’s objectives. You will contribute to revenue growth through referrals, professional introducer relationships and personal network development. You will support the continued evolution of the firm’s advisory proposition and client experience.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients
  • Deliver holistic financial planning and strategic wealth advice
  • Lead client review meetings and investment discussions
  • Identify opportunities for additional planning, protection and structuring
  • Develop relationships with solicitors, accountants and other professional introducers
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and suitability standards
  • Contribute to overall revenue targets and firm growth objectives

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years’ experience in private client wealth management
  • Proven track record advising high-net-worth individuals
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax and estate planning
  • QFA qualified as a minimum, CFP or similar advanced qualification preferred
  • Commercially aware with a demonstrable ability to generate revenue
  • Strong presence and credibility with sophisticated clients
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
