Managing a mixed portfolio of SME and mid-market commercial clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2 years experience in commercial insurance who is looking to develop their technical knowledge and progress their career within a supportive brokerage environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an allocated portfolio of commercial clients across a broad range of industries.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy administration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to secure competitive outcomes for clients.
- Provide technical advice and excellent customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and issued within agreed service standards.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products where appropriate.
- Work closely with Account Executives to retain and grow the commercial book.
- Maintain accurate client records using the broker management system.
Candidate Requirements:
- Approximately 2 years experience in a commercial insurance role.
- Experience managing a mixed portfolio of commercial clients, including an SME book.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and policy wordings.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and broker management systems.
