About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and client-focused Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join their growing team.
 
The role will focus primarily on managing and developing relationships with an established portfolio of clients, ensuring they continue to receive high-quality, tailored financial advice.
 
The successful candidate will work closely with clients through regular reviews and ongoing engagement, helping them adapt their financial plans as their circumstances, priorities and long-term objectives evolve.
 
This is an opportunity for an experienced financial planner to build deep, long-term client relationships while delivering meaningful outcomes through proactive advice, comprehensive financial planning and a consistently high standard of service.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring a high-quality and consistent client experience.
  • Assess and analyse clients’ financial circumstances, needs and long-term objectives.
  • Develop tailored financial plans and provide expert advice across appropriate financial solutions.
  • Provide specialist knowledge across key areas of financial planning to support and enhance clients’ overall financial wellbeing.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, annual reviews and ongoing engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with Client Services Executives and Paraplanners to deliver an efficient and seamless client journey.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and support the continued growth of the business.
  • Ensure all client information, advice and documentation is accurate, complete and maintained in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Skills and Experience

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) qualification is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of investments, pensions, protection and savings products.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining trusted, professional client relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and confidently.
  • A results-focused approach with the ability to contribute towards individual and team objectives.
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience working effectively with client services, paraplanning and wider support teams.
  • Experience using financial planning tools such as Voyant and online application systems would be an advantage.
