On behalf of an established and growing financial planning and wealth management firm, we are seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to take ownership of client service delivery and paraplanning support across the business.

This is a firm with a strong reputation for client care and long-term relationship building. The Client Services Manager role sits at the centre of that, acting as the main point of contact for existing clients while working closely with financial advisors to keep the client journey running smoothly from first instruction through to completion.

The Role:

This position combines client relationship management with paraplanning support. You will manage day-to-day client communication, coordinate review meetings, and ensure client records and files are maintained to a high standard. Alongside this, you will support advisors with suitability report preparation, product and provider research, and documentation for new business, policy alterations and ongoing servicing.

You will also have visibility of workflow and process across the client services function, with scope to identify improvements and help the team operate more efficiently.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client service management
  • Acting as primary contact for existing clients and managing communications professionally and promptly
  • Coordinating review meetings, preparing documentation and tracking follow-up actions with advisors
  • Building trusted, long-term client relationships through proactive engagement
  • Maintaining accurate client records in line with regulatory requirements

Paraplanning support

  • Assisting with suitability reports and financial planning documentation
  • Conducting product and provider research
  • Preparing documentation for new business, alterations and servicing
  • Liaising with life companies, providers and platforms to progress cases
  • Supporting portfolio reviews, valuations and related administration
  • Experience with Small Self-Administered Pension Schemes (SSAPs) is an advantage

Operations and process

  • Monitoring workflow to keep client work progressing efficiently
  • Supporting compliance through accurate record keeping
  • Contributing to process improvement within the client services function

What the firm is looking for

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a financial planning, wealth management or insurance brokerage environment, in an administrative, client service or advisory support capacity
  • APA accreditation in Investments, Pensions and Life Assurance as a minimum
  • Solid understanding of financial planning processes and investment and protection products
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in client relationship management
  • Confidence working independently as well as part of a team
  • Good IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Progress towards QFA, or an ambition to pursue it, would be well regarded. Prior paraplanning experience and experience within an Irish financial planning or wealth management firm are both advantageous but not essential.
