Your new role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will manage and retain your own portfolio of commercial clients while delivering an exceptional level of service throughout the policy lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and servicing an existing commercial book of business.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Providing advice across a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Preparing renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy documentation.
- Negotiating competitive terms with insurers.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and strengthen existing client relationships.
- Maintaining compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and internal procedures.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
What you’ll need to succeed
- CIP qualified and compliant with the Central Bank of Ireland’s Minimum Competency Code.
- Minimum of 2 years’ personal / commercial insurance experience within a brokerage.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider market.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
