Ireland is implementing the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
Employees will have the right to request information about their own pay and the average pay of colleagues performing the same work or work of equal value, including a gender breakdown.
While the State is unlikely to fully meet the 7 June 2026 deadline, the direction is clear.
This is coming.
The only real choice is whether you prepare early or react late.
